What would your ideal name for a N. A. dubbed Hotaru be?

What could possibly be more ideal, pun-like, & perfect for Sailor Saturn? Why, Grace, of course! It took me a while to come up with this, but I think it is THE name for her. I hope you agree ^_^

None. Her name would be Hotaru. Not Terah, not Holly (although that wouldn't be so bad) not anything!! (Besides, there never going to make it that far!)

Brooke would be short, sweet, and to the point. The name can also sound sinister, yet sweet at the same time.

Actually, the name closed to Hotaru would be...HORTENSE!...yet I do *not* wish her to be a Hortense.

Most people have to put a lot of hope in her, so [the name Hope] only seems right.

You know what, even before I came to this site, I thought Isabel was a beautifully dark name for her. Weird, eh?

Dawn: Well, I believe that would be a good choice because it coincides with her reincarnations (the dawning/birth of a new day..) and also her position as the senshi of birth. On that note, it is a good bit of irony with her darker side and as the soldier or death/Silent Messiah.

sailorsaturn's appearance i think fits the name tia. it just does. also, the name Neilofer (indian origin) really fits. and hey! the nick name Neilo could go far! I think Victoria would be the best NA name for her, not Helen or Holly or that other crap. Victoria means, "Victorious" (duh), and if she wasn't named Victoria she should be named Laurel (means Victorius).

Her name does mean "firefly of death"......

I don't realy like when they change the names, but I gotta live with it! Hannah resembles Hotaru in a small way, and she looks like one to me. Olivia does sound cute, but if they want to 'modernize' it, that would be a name I would suggest.

I don't really like the practice of anglicizing names, but I heard someone mention this as a potential dub name, and I have to admit, it's perfect!! However, if I hear one more person call her Christine, or Christina, they will suffer severe beat-downs!! (I know a VERY bitchy person by that name.)

Though, in my head, this name is associated for the ever-famous character "Christine" from the Broadway show, "Phantom od the Opera", I think it would be an ideal name for Sailor Saturn.

SMS is never coming to NA, face it... but if they were to give Hotaru a name it would probably be something like Felicity (seen the names on the back of the Pluto Uranus and Neptune dolls? Not at all close to the predictions of Susan, Alex and Michelle.. Michiru's is like Nerissa.. Cellia is for Setsuna I think, and there's anoethr C for Haruka..) Anyhue... Isabelle woudl work too...
